My grandma has been dying hair along time she could be a professional at it like my aunt.
But anyway she was gonna shadow my hair but she wants to know how to do it like where to part it and everything.

If I know what you are talking about it is when the hair underneath is darker. You just part the hair at the base of the crown. Take a look at this picture that shows the part not the extenstions just where to part . This is a good start.
