My hair is a dark brown but I lighten it to a cinnamon color. I've had my hair many different shades and highlighted so after a while my hair turns this orangery shade I guess bc of all the color underneath. She cuts my hair great and for the most part the color has usually come out good though I switch allot bc I haven't found 1 that I really, really like. She will give me the book to look at the colors but this past time the color looked a reddish brown but came out a very dark brown pretty much my natural color which I didn't want. She even commented how it came out dark but she said it should wash out. This was a permanent color so I'm not sure how it will wash out. A few months back my highlights were too yellow so I went back 2 weeks later, she put on a toner and didn't charge me for it either. I don't want to be annoying and go back again so I figured I would just wait 2 more weeks making it a month and go back and ask her to dye it a different color. Could it be the hair dye the salon uses? Should I go back to her or find someone else? This will be like the 6th time I've switched in about 5 years so I'm getting kind of tired lol plus she's nice and I do trust her.Hair stylist made color too dark again. Should I change stylists?
I would say it probably isn't really her fault there are alot of different variations in color and when you pair that with the change from your hair color to the new color things can change so I would say just go back to her I dont think she would be annoyed by you coming back and still probably wouldnt charge you for it. Changing stylists is a lot of work and you never know if they will be good so I recomend sticking with the one you like
hope this helps-:)Hair stylist made color too dark again. Should I change stylists?
Usually when stylists say it'll wash out, it does. Takes a few times, but you'll start to notice it a bit.
If this has happened 2-3 times before with the same stylist, and it hasn't washed out within 6-7 washes, then it might be time to change stylists. Some are great with cuts but not with colours, and some vice versa.
U sure have hair issues! Just leave ur hair the way it is and get used 2 it. Also u shouldn't change hairdressers, that would make your current hairdresser feel bad...
i think because u have had ur hair done so many times, that the color wont exactly look as u want. give you hair a break.
i dont think its her.. its just ur hair.
