okay i started of with light brown hair that had old highlites in it... i put a temp. dye in (like a med brown)... a week later i wanted to see how my hair would look ';dark brown'; so i went and bought one of those 28 wash out dyes.. they didnt have dark brown, they only had ';black';.. i bought it thinking it wouldnt end up black-black.. but it did it ended up midnight black... it was so harsh i couldnt stand to look at it.. so then about 2 days later i bought ';color-oops'; and the result of that was very dark brown hair with some light patches.. just last night i put a strawberry blonde color perman. (which i thought might lighten my over all color and get ride of some of the spottiness) it ended up doing neither.. made almost no difference at all... SO! my question is.. my last resort is to strip the hair and start all over.. but im wondering.. since the ';black dye'; i did (3 weeks ago) was supposedly ';temporary'; will it ever wash out?!? considering what all i have done since?? seems as tho. black temp. dye is never really temporary!Hair stylist please evaluate my current hair situation...?
Oooh this one is good.
Black has the largest particals in Haircolor. Temporary or not. They stay trapped in the cortex of you hair. Eventually fading...
I would strip you hair gently with 10 volume enlightner, from sallys. No more box color. Its the worst for your hair. It traps metallic dyes in the cotrex(blocking any penetration from nutrients %26amp; such)
Let the bleach lift to a orange(not red-orange) And then you can put a strawberry blonde, or a medium brown. And the color will be even.
Use 10 volume on all colors, so it can gently move the color, with out frying the hair.
