I went to my hair stylist and told her I wanted my hair dyed a dark blonde. My starting color was a light blonde. She dyed it brown... So a few days later I got some Color Oops, and got it back to blonde. Now every time I try to dye it another color, the top of my head turns a bright version of that color, and the rest of my hair turns a dull version of that color, so it's multi-toned and hideous. And I don't dye over the already messed up color. I use Color Oops, then try again, and it still comes out wrong. She used something to do my roots before coloring it the wrong color, but what could have caused my hair to turn two different colors???? I've used Color Oops before and have never had this problem, and I know I 'm doing the hair dye right. I've been dying my hair for years. This never happened until after I went to the stylist. What can I do to fix this? I can't just wait until it all grows out, and I can't afford to go to the stylist again.Hair stylist messed up my hair in a weird way...?
Dye over dye to soon can completely destroy your hair.
So a couple of suggestions
ARDELL Color stain. Depending on the length of your hair you may need 1-4 packages. They are $1.50-$2.00 a piece at Sallys
Do NOT use as directed on the package. It is made to alter current die colors, normally you would add it to your normal dieing process and it would tint your die, But do NOT do that.
Wash your hair with a harsh shampoo or dish soap. You want it as dry as possible, NO conditioner!!!
Leave your hair down and Let air dry completely, don't use a hair dryer your hair will be to sensitive and break off in this state.
When COMPLETELY dry, take the ARDELL of choice, and saturate your entire head, focusing mostly on the tips and were your color fades most.
Once again allow to COMPLETELY air dry. After air drying, blow with a hair dryer to set the color.
Then wash out with your normal shampoo, and deep condition your hair.
The ARDELL will gradually wash out of the healthier hair, but will perminantly stain the over pourous hair that will no longer hold die.
If you hate it and it doesnt turn out how you want it, wait a week and do it again with other colors you prefer more, or get a Chemical remover used for black girls straighteners and wash your hair. It is the only thing that will remove the ARDELL when used this way.
If you wash your hair with dish soap to dry out your hair NO hair conditioner, and let dry COMPLETELY, do NOT use a hair dryer, your hair will get to brittle. You can take any hair dye WITHOUT adding developer (do NOT) add or mix anything, just the color alone and comb it threw your hair, let dry COMPLETELY and use a hair dryer once it is completely dry, then wash with a black girl shampoo and conditioner, your hair will even out color and you will have not caused any further damage.
It really is pretty simple and will cost you maybe $10 at Your local Beauty supply, it is just very time consuming, so give yourself an entire day.Hair stylist messed up my hair in a weird way...?
get a hair dye with a multi tonal in it
or you might need to save up and get the colour stripped
are you using a dye you normally use?
different dyes have different effects
You could also try a semi permanent colour, and if that takes, put a permanent on top
All the best xxx
wow girl somthin is siriously strange bout that!!
go to a different stylist!! lol
good luck!
